They paid out policy limits (20k - over a year and a half later) and that covered part of my medical bills. I could have sued her personally, and probably won - but it would have been extremely expensive and even then all I'd get is a "judgement" that I'd probably never see a penny of. I had a great attorney, and spoke with several others ranging from extremely respectable to ambulance chaser and every one of them said basicly the same thing.. "Yea, you can sue.. Yea, it'll take years.. yea, you'll win.. yea, It'll cost you thousands and you'll probably never get paid."
